Practice areas

My practice areas

I advise and represent clients primarily in property law, inheritance law and vehicle law. I combine personal attention with many years of experience and consistent representation of clients' interests in and out of court.

Property and construction law

A particular focus of my property practice is disputes between co-owners. I represent clients in litigation and in seeking an economically sound out-of-court solution.

My work includes:

  • partition actions and defence against them;
  • exclusion actions between co-owners;
  • disputes between co-owners and condominium owners;
  • problems involving the assessment of unit values and establishment of condominium ownership;
  • buying and selling property;
  • gifts and transfers of real estate;
  • escrow arrangements;
  • drafting and reviewing property agreements;
  • land register matters;
  • tenancy and housing law;
  • estate agency law;
  • property developer contract law;
  • construction law and construction contracts;
  • litigation concerning construction projects and defects.

I have particular experience in partition actions and other co-ownership conflicts and regularly address these legal issues in academic work.

Inheritance law

I advise and represent you in all major areas of inheritance law, from timely estate planning to inheritance litigation. My services include:

  • enforcing inheritance-related claims and defending unjustified claims;
  • representation in contested estates in and out of court;
  • inheritance actions and contentious inheritance proceedings;
  • enforcing and defending compulsory-share claims;
  • calculating compulsory shares;
  • advice on actions to partition an inheritance;
  • representation in probate proceedings;
  • advice on statutory and testamentary succession and declarations of acceptance of inheritance;
  • drafting, registering and holding wills in safekeeping;
  • estate planning and lifetime asset transfers;
  • purchase and gift agreements, including gifts effective on death;
  • waivers of inheritance and compulsory-share rights.

My aim is to prevent inheritance conflicts wherever possible. If litigation becomes necessary, I represent your interests consistently.

Vehicle law

I specialise in vehicle law and am also a trained motor mechanic. Alongside legal training, I therefore have sound technical knowledge. This can be particularly valuable when assessing vehicle defects and technically complex disputes.

I advise and represent private individuals, workshops and other automotive businesses, particularly on:

  • technical defects after buying a car or motorcycle;
  • statutory warranty and contractual guarantee claims;
  • reversal or cancellation of vehicle purchase contracts;
  • undisclosed accident, engine, gearbox or other vehicle damage;
  • disputes with car dealers and workshops;
  • legal problems between repair workshops and their customers;
  • defective or disputed repairs;
  • problems with leased vehicles and leasing companies;
  • road traffic accidents;
  • enforcing claims for damages and compensation for pain and suffering.

Where legal and technical issues overlap, my additional training enables a particularly thorough assessment of the facts.

Personal attention

I place particular emphasis on personal, direct advice focused on solutions. Every case is different, and the best legal solution must therefore be tailored to the individual circumstances.
